Day 5

Sorry if this photo is late but at least it is before the end of the day. Have you ever seen it snow in the desert? Well, here is your chance. One year when I was stationed in Twentynine Palms, CA or MCAGCC Base in Twentynine Palms it had snowed one December.
Palm Springs’ Aerial Tramway

Have you ever wanted to go from one climate temperature to another in just a few minutes? Palm Springs has the Aerial Tramway which is the largest rotating tramway in the world. It takes you from Palm Springs Temperatures (65 or so the day we went up) to the top of Mount San Jacinto. (30 degrees or so)
Wind Generators–Palm Springs

Have you ever seen ET the movie? Do you recall those big giant wind machines that looked like a huge fan? Here in Palm Springs is where a lot of movies are recorded for those scenes in Palm Springs, CA. There are so many of these all lined up and it seems that every year we go down to the area it looks as if they added another 20 or 30 more.
This is the first photo of my 365 day Photo Project.

Vacation Time

Where do you usually go during vacation? What do you usually do when you are not at home for a long period of time? Do you relax in a sunny place or visit cooler places when it is hot? I want to get some feedback from my readers about anything exciting they did during vacation if they took any? I know some people work and don’t get the chance to go on vacation. I know you might get the holidays off but don’t really get the chance to leave home unless going to visit family and friends.
