Architecture

This is a photo of a set of buildings.  I took this shot while I was in Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico.  We had just finished seeing a lot of the city and were getting ready to call it a day.  I took this photo with my Minolta Dimage 5.

Village Life

Doorway in Guanajuato, Mexico

This is a photo of an old run down house inside the village near Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.  This doorway kind of reminded me of a simple getaway to another world.  I liked the way the flowers set the scene.  I snapped this photo using my Minolta Dimage 5.

Field of Smoke

Field and Burro in Guanajuato Mexico

This is a photo of a field that has some trash burning.  I took this photo while I was in Guanajuato, Mexico.  This is some village just outside of Leon where my mother-in-law grew up.  It is a very small village and by walking down the streets you can see how things have changed. I seen this field of smoke along with the burro there just standing looking as we passed.   I snapped this photo with my Minolta Dimage 5.

The Smallest Mummy Ever

Smallest Mummy - Guanajuato

This is a photo of the world’s smallest mummy ever.  I snapped this photo while visiting the mummy display in Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico.  This is a very interesting tour.  If you have never been over to see the mummies, you must.  It is very creepy.  I heard the tour used to take you underground to the actual tunnels below the city but I guess there was some issue that stopped you from going down there.  It is interesting to see the oldest and even some that were buried alive.  I snapped this photo with my Minolta Dimage 5.

Modern Wheels

Modern Wheels

I took this photo of this horse drawn carriage with my Minolta Dimage 5.  I snapped this photo of this image while I was visiting Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.  This horse drawn carriage actually has rubber wheels and a blowhorn to announce to the neighborhood about the specials on vegetables and fruit.  I really love the city of Leon.  My whole plan is to move there with the way this economy is going here in the United States I don’t see why its not on everybody else’s plan.
