This is a photo of a mural that was put together with tile pieces inside a hotel in the middle of San Pedro Sulas, Honduras. We went to have lunch at the hotel restaurant and I noticed the beautiful mural and how it had so much detail. I snapped the photo with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT.

This is a photo from inside of China Town looking down into the rest of San Francisco. I snapped this photo with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and my Canon 28-135mm lens. China Town is very strange. Not much to do around there unless you are aware of the Asian culture or if you are hungry.

Yes, this photo is real and untouched with any digital program. I snapped this photo from the inside of this restaurant called Asqew’s in San Francisco. I noticed that it had the time all weird and thought it would be interesting to see what you thought of the clock. The food at this place was okay but I wouldn’t go there again. It seems like everything they serve was missing something. I had to put salt in my food and sugar in my Root Beer. They serve mostly Barbeque ribs and chicken. They have a small selection of fish. If you want to go there it is right down the street from the Golden Gate Park. I would love to hear your reviews on the food if you have already went or plan to go.

While visiting the Golden Gate Park I came across this huge antenna that was ruining the scenery. Anyone know what it is and what is its purpose? I know that it is an antenna of some kind but why did they put it right in the middle of this beautiful area and not on top of some building? I snapped this photo with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT using my Canon 28-135mm lens from the lake in the park. Anyone know anything about this thing I would love to hear about it.

This weekend I had the chance to go to San Francisco and experience some of its beauty. One thing that I thought was amazing was the Golden Gate Park. My wife had seen this article in one of the Via (AAA Insurance Magazine) Magazine Issue, where it had this underground garden. We went to try and find it but had no luck until we were flipping through some street magazine that we picked up while in the town on Friday. We seen the same thing she was looking for. We spent the night and went to see it the next day. We walked over from the lake to see this amazingly long line to enter the garden. It must have been over a thousand people in it and it wasn’t moving very fast. Soon after we heard a lady say, “If you don’t already have a ticket then you will not get in.” So we gave up and explored the rest of the park. Like this tree that I captured with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and my Canon 28-135mm lens. There are more things to see so stay tuned. I am planning on trying to go back during the summer or so to take a trip over to Alcatraz and get my ticket ahead of time for the garden.

This is a photo of an orange flower that I took at Lake Tahoe. I used my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and my Sigma 70-300mm lens. I had the lens stuck in the Macro setting and couldn’t get it out so I just shot it the way it was. My family was in a hurry so I needed to run. I think the picture came out beautifully. I am not sure exactly what kind of flower it is but if you know please let me know. Thanks!

This is a photo of Toulomne Meadows just above Tioga Pass in California. Very nice place. It is peaceful and full of fresh air. I went on a road trip one day and we went over to Yosemite, then up through Tioga Pass and then over to Mammoth Lakes, then over to Lake Tahoe. It was a long drive but I think it was well worth it. I took this picture with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and the Canon 17-55mm lens.

This work was done by Abiam Alvarez who is my wife’s cousin. Very interesting work. I am working with him to create a webpage and get some of his work sold. We were kind of wondering how much to charge for this kind of work. If anyone has any idea on a price please let me know so that we can get it sold. If anyone is interested in seeing more of his work please let me know. If anyone is interested in buying something let me know. I took this photo with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT using my Canon 28-135mm lens.

This is a photo of a spider that was hanging around in my back yard. I took this photo with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and my Canon 28-135mm lens.

Lately, you have probably heard about the crisis in the San Joaquin Valley with its shortage of water. It is true. Farmers are not able to irrigate their crops due to a large shortage of water in the valley. With the approval of the "Speed Train" I am almost certain that funds that provide water to our valley farmers will get cut even more. But hey, that is okay right! As long as the people in San Francisco can catch a train to Los Angeles and get there a couple of hours faster than it takes to drive. Well, if you are someone who is going to be effected by this crisis (which is almost everyone, because without water for these crops there is no food or produce for the rest of the United States.) then be sure to give your congressman a shout and let them know how you feel. I took this picture just off the Interstate 5 and Highway 33 turnoff. I took it with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and my Canon 28-135mm lens. We had just came back from Hearst Castle and we pulled over to take this beautiful picture.
