In December of 2004 my family and I went to Leon, Guanajuato Mexico to visit some family.  If you have never been to Leon or Mexico, you do not know what you are missing.  I am not talking about the border towns that are near the U.S. border.  No, those towns are too Americanized.  If you are up for some authentic Mexican food and culture then you have to go deeper in to Mexico in order to experience the true Mexico.

Guanajuato is the capital of Guanajuato which is popular for its Mummy Museum.  This is always a fun experience.  The streets of Guanajuato are truly a work of art and everything you see is to preserve its history.
