Wedding Season

Wedding Season

Well, I think it is official.  Wedding Season is over.  I don’t see very many weddings going on in the Fall and it is such a shame.  I think the Fall is the best time for weddings because of the beautiful light that is available.  It just seems that the light is cleaner and more brilliant during the Fall.  I usually get all of my wedding events booked during the summer but would love to do one during the winter.  If anyone is interested let me know and I can arrange a demo of my work.

Anyone with wedding events coming up, I would love to see some of the work afterwards.

Aperture Speed and Natural Lighting

I think that lighting is the key to every photograph.  If you have too much then your photos tend to be washed out with all the light.  If you don’t have enough then your photos come out too dark.  If you can master your camera and learn how it reacts with certain lenses to light then you can truly master the way you and your camera takes pictures.

I took this photo with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and my Canon 28-135mm lens.  I didn’t use any flash just the natural light that was there.  I had a bit of a long shutter speed so that I could get the effect of the Carousel spinning in motion.  I took this photo at the mall in Irvine.

Pictage

Pictage Specializes in Weddings!
Copyright Michael Bonfigli
I recently was doing some research on trying to find a good company that can take some of the load off from me having to do all the photo editing, printing and all that stuff, and I came across a company called Pictage.  It seems like a very impressive company that can handle a lot of work.  I found that they offer a lot of services and it seems like the marketing for your business is also done by them giving you a lot of power.  Your customers get a well designed site and impressive work to look at and order.  The price is a little steep for an amateur photographer but if you can begin to earn the money quickly with them then it is going to be well worth it.  If anyone out there has used or is using Pictage I would love to hear some feedback from you.  I know a lot of professionals are using it and would just like to share with others about it.

I’m Back

October 16th, 2008

Hello Fellow Photographers!

After crashing my blog site by updating to WordPress 2.6 it deleted all of my old files.  I think it was time for an upgrade anyways.  I am still having some issues but I thought I would just share with everyone that the site is up again and running.  If anyone would like to share any stories that have happened over the time I have been out of reach please feel free to do so.

Over the time I have been busy with so many projects.  I started a new Network Engineer job which has been very interesting since my boss is very cool and the work place is very advanced than my previous workplace.  I think it is going to be a great fit.

I havent done too much photography since but I did one graduation photos for the local college here.  I will be trying to post more often again to get things going.  Make sure you share some comments or some photos.
