I just got back from a business trip to Las Vegas and I must say that it was a very long week. We were there to participate in ISC West 2012. A very large Expo that consists of many different security companies out to sell their latest product. If you went to ISC West 2012 and have photos to share please do.

I got an email from Adobe today and man it seems that Adobe is the most updated software out there. It seems like everyday I have to update something on my Adobe Acrobat/CS or every other program that they come out with. I think the world has seen enough for at least a while anyways. Why don’t they work on fixing the current software until there aren’t any new updates required then push out a new version?
I had to look this up just to be sure because I could have swore that I just got CS5 last year but no, it seems that CS5 actually came out in 2010 and then Adobe came out with an updated Extended Version that came out in 2011. So, let me see, if we wait until 2013 or so, they might have worked out the bugs and released it with their Extended Version of CS6.
Trust me when I say that this company is just out to get people’s money but then again, who isn’t.

Here is a photo of some very small pools that I photographed while I was at Pasadena last week. I don’t even think those pools are big enough for at least 2 people to get their laps on.
Oh well!

While I was down in Pasadena I noticed a group of Fire Trucks from different cities in the area. It seemed as if they were doing some training or checking a building (the tall one on the left). There seemed to be some kind of rubber doll or practice doll hanging outside one of the windows in the back. I know I heard a lot of banging and step climbing.

Here is a photo of what seems to be a church that has seen better days. The building appears to be cracking but it still looks beautiful. This photo was taken in Pasadena, California.

Here you will see a Parking Garage that has a lot of signs above it. I took this photo while in Pasadena this week.

Above is a photo of Pasadena City Hall from the west of the buildings. I used Adobe Lightroom to give the photo an Antique look and added a Vignette to give it a little WOW!

Here is a photo from McCabe Elementary School in Mendota, California. I was visiting the school one evening when my cousin was earning his award for his book writing skills. We were already leaving the school when I noticed the hallways looked so empty. I saw the Lost and Found cart down at the end and thought it would be a cool shot.

Where I am currently working they want us to donate some of our time to the organizations and communities around the area. I have always been a fan of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Organization so I reached out to them and they contacted me. I am so glad to be helping out with the program and hope that I can help make a difference.
In fact, the organization will be hosting a Golf Tournament at Eagle Springs in Friant, CA. The Komen Central Valley 2nd Annual Swing for the Cure® Golf Tournament will be hosted at Eagle Springs Golf and Country Club on Saturday, May 19, 2012. If you know anyone that may be interested in playing or donating to the cause please download the document below:
