I came across an interesting article today that is from I Love Photo Blogs. The article titled 46 Things I Have Learned About Photo Blogs contains some very interesting information for Photography Bloggers either just getting started or have been around for a long time. I considered the information very helpful because it gives a lot of great tips on what you should and shouldn’t be doing with your Photography Blog.
One that I found interesting was number 3 which says, “Photographers that don’t list a biography are missing great opportunity to connect with their viewers.†I thought this was a great point because I looked at my About Page and realized there isn’t anything really about me in there and I haven’t updated it since I started the page after I encountered some errors on the previous one.
I decided I am going to come up with a great introduction or Biography for you readers to check out on my About Page. I apologize for not doing this sooner but as most of you don’t know, I work as a full-time Network Engineer in a school district, so my free time is usually spending it with family and just trying to enjoy life.
I will keep you all posted on how things are going!
Thanks for reading!

Today starts the week of Mexico Photos week, which I mentioned last week that it was a little late but better late than never. This week I plan to take you along on the trip that our family took when we last visited in December of 2004.
Today, I am going to share more than one photo with you because Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico is probably one of the most beautiful places to see in Mexico. It has so much history and amazing architecture. The above photo is of the Basilica de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato which is just one of the beautiful churches that Guanajuato has to offer.
The photo to the right is of another church just to the right of Teatro Juarez. Not sure what it is called but if you know and would like to share with us, please feel free.
Guanajuato has so many different places and things to see. It is full of history. According to a custom publication of the Fresno Bee that was published on September 8, 2010, Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico is the 2nd top city next to Ciudad de Mexico. There is so many important history figures that have roamed the streets.
I want to thank The Cultured Traveler for some of their information on the buildings in Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. Visit their site to see all the information on the capital.
Stay tuned throughout the week to see more photos from Guanajuato, Mexico. I am even going to share something that might frighten you!

This was probably my first attempt at creating multiple shots of the same person in the same shot. I did this with Adobe Photoshop after I had just finished taking some photos of Joseph Marquez. Remember, I have not taken any Adobe Photoshop training at all along with no Photography training! All learn as I go!
This photo was taken back in 2007 with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT.
Thanks for reading everyone and I hope you have a great weekend. Don’t forget, next week I will be showing off some of my photos from Mexico to help celebrate the Mexican Independence Day. (Although its late, but oh well, better late than never!)

Ok, I know you guys are probably going to think I am going crazy because I am taking photos of dead animals but trust me I am not. I was reading an article last week that discussed that California actually developed a website to track the deadliest roads for animals.
The California Roadkill Observation System is a system that is allowing volunteers to enter in observations of when they come across a Roadkill! It is very simple to do and it cost nothing to get started. The observation entry form can be a little tricky when it comes to picking the exact location of the observation but if they had an iPhone app for it I am sure it would be popular.
I actually have entered in two observations in two days. I came across two different Barn Owls that seemed to have been struck by something.
This one doesn’t look too bad but it is very shocking to see all the different areas that are being tracked on the map. I looked at Highway 33 which is one that I travel along everyday on my way to work and I didn’t see any entries so I figured I need to do my part and start helping scientists to find a reason why all these animals keep getting killed.
If you would like to do your part and enter observations for Roadkills then visit their site today and get signed up.
That’s all for today!

This is a photo of a street sign from Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. I took this photo back a couple of years ago when my family went to Mexico to visit some family. The street we used to visit is the Boulevard Campeche Col. Chapalita. It is a very nice place. I haven’t been there in such a long time that I wonder how things are going with all the crime and drug wars going on.
I thought of a way to get you readers involved on this one and would like for you guys to send me a photo of the street sign that you like to visit when you go on vacation. If you like you can post them here or if you are not interested then please let me know.
Next week I plan to do a week about Mexico and include some photos from my trips to the area. If you have any great photos from Mexico and would like to share them then please feel free to let me share them with our readers.

This is a photo of Catal which is a restaurant and bar that is right in the middle of Downtown Disney. I thought that Downtown Disney was amazing. It has lots of different atmospheres for all types of people. We actually saw the Fireworks from within Downtown Disney.
The photo above, I used Adobe Lightroom and some presets to touch it up and give it that look.
The photo below was all natural and taken with a 1 second lapse using my Canon EOS 5D Mark II.

If you have some photos that you would like to share with us from Downtown Disney, please feel free to share.
Also, if you have not heard, I am giving away prizes to the first 10 people that comment on this post! I want to get some feedback from the viewers and I am watching as the numbers go up and down. I recently made some changes to the way the site operates and have seen a big jump in the hits but a decrease in the actual readers and subscribers.
I really want to get some feedback as to what other might think. Remember this site was not intended just for me to share my work, but for others to share theirs as well.

This is a photo that I took last weekend while visiting Southern California. We stopped over at Laguna Beach and spent some family time just relaxing and enjoying the sun. I snapped this photo with my Canon EOS 5D Mark II and my Sigma 70-300mm lens.
If you have some great beach shots or shots that you took this summer I would love to see them and share them with everyone else.
Maybe you went on a vacation outside of the country or heck, maybe just outside of the valley then I would love to see them.
Feel free to share them with us.

I ran across a lot of weddings this weekend while visiting down south. I photographed this one photographer taking some shots of what looked like they wee engagement shots but I cant be sure. I know that now the summer is finally ending that it will cut down on the weddings that will be happening.
If you have some great wedding shots and would like to share them with everyone then feel free to.

The summer has finally ended. You can see that the gas prices have begun to lower and the weather seems to be getting cooler. We realized that when we were down south this weekend visiting some family. We were in Laguna Beach, California on Saturday and the weather was awesome and on Sunday we went to the beach in Oceanside, California and it was cloudy and cool. You could tell that the summer has finally come to an end.
The photo above is from Oceanside, California.
Thanks for reading and if you have any great summer photos I would love for you to share them here with us so we can see them.

Recently, I made some changes to my feedburner setup. This causes the issue of only being able to see a small amount of content from each post. If the reader is interested then they should be able to click on the link to view the entire post by viewing the site. I can switch it back and display all of the content to the subscribers but it would cut down on the hits to the site.
I want to get some feedback from you and see which one you would prefer. I know that my occasional visitors to the actual site this means nothing to you and I am pointing this question towards the subscribers that are reading my content. I want to hear back from you and see which you would prefer.
I think it all is important if you can respond and give me your honest feedback.
