I was on my way to work one morning and noticed this beautiful sunrise and I had to stop and catch it. I wish I could say I seen the sun this morning on my way to work but I didn’t. That didn’t stop me from enjoying the beautiful morning though. I was enjoying the beautiful mountains along with the way the fields are so green. The sun seemed to be shining over the clouds above me because I could see the way it was shining on the mountains on the west. Very amazing how the eagles were out on the prowl early also. I just loved the whole morning. Looks like we have some sun now.

I recently stumbled upon a website that allows people to work from home doing the jobs they do best. Elance.com has a lot of different job types available for users to work at. From Digital Webpages to Hardware setups. It is free for the basic user which allows you to connect with employers. The site also has some other plans which allows you more opportunities a month to connect with employers and more skills added to your profile. The basic plan gives you five skills that employers can view on your profile and see if you are capable of handling the job. The site also allows you to post job openings to hire your own person for the desired job.
I had been working on another site for side jobs and this one was mainly for computer hardware repairs which I have been doing a lot lately. I have been turning down more jobs in the Modesto area though because the location is too far for me to drive for too little pay. The site is Service Live and they work really great although the locations they support are farther than I would like.

I have been pretty busy lately. From working on people’s computers that are infected with malware and viruses to working on webpages. Not too busy with the photography stuff and I kind of miss it. The family and I got a chance to drive down to Los Angeles this weekend and attend a church convention in Torrance, CA. We drove down Saturday night and got up early Sunday morning and headed for the convention. I must say the Los Angeles group “Iglesia Apostolica de la fe en Cristo Jesus” is huge. There were a lot of members there. I actually witnessed three new pastors get sworn in. It was amazing. We left the convention and drove home. I love the Los Angeles weather. As soon as we got on this side of the Grapevine it was back to heavy jackets and warmer clothes. I cant wait to move down to Southern California.
One of the pastors was actually the pastor of the church in Palm Springs. I thought it would be great to introduce myself but I didn’t get a chance to. Maybe next time.
I have also been working with the Mendota Pentecostal Church of God to build a website for them. It has been going good so far. I am working with them tonight to finish up the touches and give them the reigns to take over their page. The page is just up with a normal Wordpress theme but we are hoping to get that changed tonight. Check the site out and let me know what you think.

A couple of months ago I did a post about the village life in Honduras. http://perezstudios.com/blog/travel/villagelife Our church is planning on going again and I was thinking of putting together some things for them to take with them. I know they need money and was thinking that would be perfect but how do you go about getting people to trust you on the internet? When I came back from Honduras I had some of my photos for sale and the proceeds went to the family in the photo. I only made about $100 and thought I could try it again and see what I could get.
If anyone is interested in helping out with the people in Honduras then let me know and I can take donations of any kind and make sure they get them. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know and I will try my best to answer them.
I was listening on the radio and heard about a man who was eating a Chipotle burrito everyday for every meal for one week. I was thinking of doing something similar to that but couldn’t come up with any ideas other than pizza or tacos. Would anyone sponsor me or be interested in that idea? Let me know. Thanks again and God Bless!

I have been wondering where do you professional photographers store your photos after so many years? I have a 1.5TB drive as my Main drive and another 1.5TB drive as my backup which I use Storage Craft’s Shadow Protect to backup but what do the pros use? I use Adobe Lightroom 2.0 to keep track of all my photos but as I begin to run at about 300GB left on the 1.5TB Main Drive I am wondering should I archive them onto DVD and keep them in a safe or what?
Anyone with any ideas I would appreciate the help!

Over the years I have hated the fact that I didnt have the patience to go and touchup people’s faces in Adobe Photoshop. I gave it up actually and fixed just the major issues with a charge of course. That was until I came across Portrait Professional which is a very powerful program that allows you to draw the outline or major features of a face and it does all the touching up for you. If you look at the photo above and look to the left you see a girl with a case of bad acne. On the right you see the work that Portrait Professional does. If you are into portraits and need to do a lot of touching up I highly recommend it.
You can purchase Portrait Professional by going to http://www.portraitprofessional.com/ and paying $69.95 right now. If you are interested in a free trial they offer that as well.

Manuel Perez was putting his stuff in the car this morning getting ready to go to work when he noticed this big glow in the sky. He jumped in the car and noticed that the sky seemed to be on fire. He drove over by the lake and snapped this and a few more photos. It is a good thing he caught it when he did because as soon as he drove down the highway it seemed to just vanish because of the clouds rolling in from the north.
